If there is a warrant out for your arrest, here is how to set up your bond the right way. Call us first, and we will walk you through it.
Let the agent know the status of the warrant, which county issued it, whether you have bonded with one of our listed companies before, and the bond amount if you know it.
The only way to take care of a bond is to turn yourself in. Make an appointment with an agent to set up the bond before you turn yourself in.
Bring the fee (discussed with your agent beforehand), a valid photo ID, and possibly other documents such as proof of home ownership, residency, lease, occupation, and references.
Bonds are written with a qualified indemnitor, usually someone other than the defendant who is 21 or older and employed, and who owns or is buying a home or has a documented rental history. In place of an indemnitor, a deposit may be accepted. The deposit amount varies by county, and may also be required along with a risk bond. An indemnitor may still be required even when a deposit is taken.
Come to the appointment with the defendant and the indemnitor, complete the paperwork, and present your documentation. The bond is then written.
We are open 24/7. Call any hour and an agent will walk you through it.
